Yellowknife, NT - Today was a landmark event marking the constituents
meeting by Northwest Territories Premier the
Honourable "Captain Joe" Handley.
PLYWOODMAN entered the meeting in full costume and was
the first to ask a question.
P.M. refered to the five expert witnesses, who
provided testimony last month to the "Evil Dr. Dent"
and reminded Captain Joe of the 50% rate of un-tested
and un-subsantiated evidence of abuse stemming from
the Family Court, now about to cause two fold problems
with the introduction of bil-21 D.V.
PLYWOODMAN then asked what confidence can be given to
"fix" these problems and was shuffled to his MLA.
PLYWOODMAN then remained silent for a while and let
other people spew their issues.
He then struck one last time, and mentioned that his
family has campaigned feaverishly for four years to
"Two Federal Governments, Two Provincial Governments
(Ontario and Alberta) and Two Territorial Governments"
and cannot identify a single child centered service to
assist the custodial parents of our children with
their possesive parenting approach, and remain left
out in the cold. he added that judging by the
response of the D.A.D.S. of the North program we is
not alone.
He reminded "Captain Joe" that this Government has
spent a great deal of money on same sex marriage, and
in Yellowknife their are but 10 lesbian couple and no
male gay couples and pointed to the 50% divorce rate.
He further reminded the Premier that the Legislative
Assembly in short is a healing circle and that people
are getting hurt and now hurting themselves.
He then asked "Captain Joe" what confidence he can
give to resolve this issue, and again reminded
PLYWOODMAN that it will be raised to the Minister of
Justice and the Minister for Social Services and
shuffled him to his MLA. PLYWOODMAN then responded
that he has spoken to his MLA for three years, has
spoken to the Minister for Social Services for Two and
has now spoken to the Minister of Justice for one.
P.M. closed by referring to a "Class action suite" and
stated that he was very disappointed and left the
meeting. The press were quick to follow, and P.M. was
then advised that "Captain Joe's" set stated charge
following P.M.'s depature was "I'm sure glad I have a
healthy marriage"
