We are here today as part of "Christmas Of Chaos", the first internationally organized protest by F4J (Fathers For Justice), a growing civil rights movement which seeks to establish the right of every child, every parent and every grandparent to have a meaningful and loving relationship with each other. The politicians and family law system in this country are blocking this right. Its gender-biased family court rulings are creating a nation of children without parents and parents without children. Our objective is the adoption of presumptive shared parenting here in Saskatchewan, in Canada and around the world.
Many of the people here today will not have an opportunity to spend quality time with their children at Christmas. Some of these children will not be allowed to receive a Christmas present from their parent. To protest this injustice, we are leaving symbolic gifts at the steps of the Family Court. We will hand over real children's gifts to Soul's Harbour. We seek hope, justice and equality for all children, all parents and all grandparents.
